What’s the best way to care for and clean my jewelry?
Your jewelry can be kept looking new if you follow a few simple guidelines: Avoid contact with bleach, harsh soaps, perfumes, cosmetics, hairsprays, etc. Also, take your jewelry off at night and store it in a jewelry box with compartments that keep pieces from rubbing against each other. You can clean your jewelry in a bowl of warm, sudsy water with a bit of any mild liquid detergent. Brush the jewelry with a soft brush until you have created a lather around it. With the jewelry on a plastic or metal strainer, rinse off with warm water. Be sure not to clean your jewelry over the drain! Pat your jewelry dry with a soft, lint-free cloth. You can also use a mild liquid jewelry cleaner that is made for delicate jewelry. Sterling silver naturally tarnishes, especially in humid conditions. Although commercial cleaning solutions can be used, it is not recommended, especially if the piece contains crystals, gems, or natural stones. A professional jewelry polishing cloth (for sterling silver) is best, but you can also use a mild dish liquid soap and a soft, lint-free cloth.

How long will it take to deliver the products?
USA: Please allow 5-10 business days. Worldwide: Please allow 3 weeks. During the busy seasons (Christmas, Mother's Day, Valentine's Day, etc.), it may take longer.

What do you charge in addition to the displayed price (only for international customers)?
The prices displayed in the product pages are inclusive of Value Added Tax. For international shipments, all our rates exclude any local taxes, duties, and surcharges that may be imposed according to your local customs regulations.

Do you create custom jewelry?
We invite you to share your ideas with us. We are happy to provide a quote for the creation of your dream jewelry, whether it is an elegant custom bracelet or a statement necklace. E-mail us at: MayleesJewelry@qualityservice.com and provide the details of your request. Be sure to include your contact information (e.g., e-mail and phone number). We will reply within 24-48 hours with a quote once all details are agreed upon. Half of payment price is due up-front once a custom piece is commissioned. Considerations: Type of metal (bronze- gold-, or silver-plated, or sterling silver); Jewelry Type (earrings, bracelet, necklace, pendant); Color; Length; Accents (i.e., charms, crystals, beads, stones); Please allow 4-8 weeks from the initial design process to completion and shipment. Custom orders may be completed sooner if requested items are in stock.

Do you accept returns or exchanges?
ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Because Maylee’s Jewelry specializes in creating and selling unique, one-of-a-kind jewelry, all of our Items are sold AS IS and AS PICTURED. However, we will gladly accept returns for damaged merchandise or for items that are not as described (i.e., wrong item sent) if arrangements are made within 3 days of receipt. Maylee’s Jewelry will not be responsible for items lost or damaged when they are shipped back to us. As a result, we recommend that you insure your return for the value you paid when you ship it back to us. Please refer to our "About Us" page for our detailed return policy.

Are these items handmade?
Yes! About 90-95% of the items we sell are handmade. As a result, there may be slight differences, variations, and imperfections which are a normal part of our production process because most of our items are made by hand. These types of slight differences, variations, and imperfections are not considered flaws and are not grounds for replacement.

Do you use green packaging?
Like most responsible companies, at Maylee’s Jewelry, we are doing what we can to reduce our carbon footprint. A note about our packaging and the environment ... Whenever possible, we repurpose broken or vintage jewelry, and upcycle raw materials and found objects. Also, to keep postage costs as low as possible and to reduce waste, we will reuse package components or mail an item in recycled packaging. But, while the outer packaging may not be pretty, we can guarantee that the contents are!

Do you have a warranty? Do you make repairs?
Yes! We will repair any jewelry item purchased from us FOR FREE if it is within 30 days from the date of purchase. Simply mail your item to us AND include a SASE (self-addressed stamped envelope) for the return postage. Please pack your item with the same care we used when shipping the item to you. Be sure to include a detailed description of the problem and your e-mail address (in case we need to contact you for additional information). After 30 days, repairs will be subject to an $8.00 repair fee. Please note that we reserve the right to use comparable or alternative materials when making a repair. If a repair cannot be made, the item and repair fee will be promptly returned to you. Most repairs will take about a week (or less). However, more complex repairs will take more time than that.

What do you charge to ship to my country?
Due to increased international scamming, we now include insurance with every international package. As a result, it costs us at least $12 USD to ship a 1 ounce package overseas. This is excluding packaging and transportation costs. So, please keep this in mind when you are placing your order. Our international shipping costs are at cost, but sometimes we lose money to keep the international shipping costs reasonable.
